Potentially Powerful Questions

I have a few pretty powerful questions to ask you.

Here's the first one:

If you could give up everything in your life in exchange for one thing/experience/achievement... (or if you could sell your soul for one thing) what would it be?

Think about it.

What is it that you desire more than anything else?

And what are you willing to do for it?

Or here's another one:

If you knew that your eventual success was guaranteed, what would you set out to do?

What would you do if you knew that you could not fail?

The answers to these questions can give you insight into what you are truly capable of achieving, as well as how much more you might be capable of doing to get there...

Ponder these questions for a bit and see what you come up with.

What's Your Vision?

We all go through times when things don't work out exactly how we would like them to, right?

So what can you do?

Well, you can do what most people do, which is whine and complain and get angry or frustrated at the world and everyone and everything who didn't do what you decided they should do to make you happy, or... you can focus on your vision.

What do I mean by that?

If you have been reading my articles, or any of the multitude of similar materials out there, you will know all about the primordial importance of having a powerful VISION for your life. A vision, or set of goals, allows you to move forward confidently in the direction of your dreams. As the best-selling book of all time affirms, without vision the people perish.

Those of us without a true Definiteness of Purpose, as explained in Think and Grow Rich (the greatest wealth-building guide of all time), find ourselves wandering aimlessly through life and wondering why things aren't working out better than they are. Well, it's because we have no plan. And, as Napoleon Bonaparte once stated: those who fail to plan, plan to fail.

Now, it does NOT mean that those who DO plan have everything fall into place. No. It simply means that without some type of plan, some type of goal or direction (even one as simple as "being happy") most will be tossed and trampled by life according to whatever circumstances they find themselves born into and the people that they are constantly in contact with.

What all of this means is that if you do not set a direction and goal for your life (a Vision), you will be destined to re-create the same type of life as the people that you spend the most time with.

"You become what you think about." - Earl Nightingale, The Strangest Secret, 1956

If you spend most of your time with people who complain about life and how they never get anything and everyone who has something is a crook, those thoughts will be in your mind as well by default and your life will look a lot like their life.

If you want a better life, think better thoughts. Those better thoughts will lead to better actions and better results. The Universe will also respond to the better vibration of your being (as everything, from sound to light to material things, are all vibrating energy).

With the Universe on your side, you can achieve anything you truly desire.

The easiest way to get started is to first figure out what you truly want out your life (by the way, this is YOUR life, so make the time to really think about this), then find out who are the people that are already living the way you want to live, or close to it, and find out how they do it.

You can do this by reading their books, DVD's, Audio programs and learning from them any way you can, but the greatest way, if possible, is to be in their presence. If you want a better life, get better friends.

Harsh but true.

If the people you are with now are not willing to improve their own life, you must make a decision to surround yourself with people who do.

Find them and spend time with them if you can. Learn everything you can, especially how they think.

In time, you will start to think more like them, talk more like them, act more like them and get more of the same type of results that they have.

Does that make sense?

You become what you think about most.

When things get tough, there is only one solution that will have you moving out of that rut that you are in and making progress towards the achievement of your dreams.

Ask yourself this: What's my Vision?

Constantly bring your vision to the forefront of your mind so that you keep reminding yourself WHY? you are doing what you are doing.

As long as your VISION is clear and powerful, it will push you through anger, frustration and fear into the glory of living your dreams a little bit more... all the time.

So when things don't work out: Focus on your vision.
When things fall apart: Focus on your vision.
When something unexpected happens: Focus on your vision.
When things go well: Focus on your vision.
ect.

In time, your vision may expand as you realise that you can achieve even more than you initiallly thought possible. Allow it. Let it expand. In time you might get a glimpse of greater light through the trees and see your relatively dim existance as possibly getting a little, or a lot, brighter.

Go for it.

As your mind expands, your vision expands and who you believe you can become expands.

You become what you think about most.

Think about something great. More and more...

Have a great new year.

Hypnotize Yourself to Win

You've all probably heard of hypnosis right?
What about self-hypnosis?

It's pretty self-explanatory.

Hypnosis: Allowing someone to guide you to enter deep relaxation where resistance to ideas is lowered, and implanting powerful tools and mindsets to transform you into the person you desire to be. Your ultimate self. *This is only one use for hypnosis, there are many others. Also, this should never be used to attempt to harm or control anyone. If someone really doesn't want to do something, they won't do it anyway.*

Self-hypnosis: Teaching yourself to enter deep relaxation and creating vivid and powerful attitudes and dreams for yourself. Programming your own mind for the success you desire.

Sounds great right? But how do you do it?

Step 1: Find a place where you can be alone and undisturbed for 30-60 mins.

Step 2: Get as comfortable as possible, without falling asleep. Try sitting instead of lying down to avoid sleeping.

Step 3:Learn to relax completely. That means focusing on your breath, the sensation in your body by scanning from toe to head as you release tension throughout... And just learning to let go of all tension and resistance inside of your body first. The mind will let go as well. The more relaxed you are, the better.

Step 4: Imagine in your mind a sanctuary. Somewhere where you can always go to relax and find peace. A garden, a wonderful room, a place in nature... whatever makes you feel relaxed and calm and comfortable throughout.

Step 5: See, feel and experience yourself there as the ideal you. Make it vivid and powerful in any way you can, using as many senses as possible. See it, hear it, touch it, smell it, taste it...

Step 6: Ask yourself this question. What is this person's mindset? How do they think? How do they act? This will give you guidance on who you need to become to be your ideal self.

Step 7: After enjoying that experience you can even ask your "ideal self" some questions. You can talk to yourself and learn from yourself. You already have the wisdom inside of you, all you need to do is listen to what you know to be true. This is a great way to do it. You could also learn from a favorite teacher from history or character you love. Just bring them in and let them come alive as you have a conversation. It's still you talking, but you might just be surprised by what you learn about yourself. Try it.

Step 8: Remember the advice you get from your "ideal self" and put it to use once you open your eyes and get back into your day.

Step 9: Remember how you looked and how you felt as your "ideal self" and start standing, breathing, talking, walking and acting that way throughout your day. You are now becoming your "ideal self" day by day. Others will notice it too.

Step 10: Take 5 minutes to do this every single day. Or just 5 seconds if you have no time. Close your eyes, relax completely and remember how it feels to be the real you. The one who wins. Reinforce it everyday and it will anchor itself in your mind and body. Soon, you will win.

Go find a quiet seat and hypnotize yourself to win.

Do it right now. Or you'll forget.

Go.

Have a great victory!
And then another, and another, and another...

I am the light.

Reclaim Your Power

I've been super busy lately (more than before) and I haven't prioritized writing at the moment. I'm learning so much in other areas at the moment and putting in place the foundation for the rest of my life... so I will have something more extensive shortly.

For now, a simple lesson.

Close your eyes.
Take a deep breath.
Take an even deeper and longer and more relaxing breath.

Now, ask yourself this one question:

If you were not afraid, if you were completely fearless, what kind of life would you live?

And allow the inspiration to come.

If you don't try this, it will mean nothing to you.
Try it, do it honestly, and it can change your life forever.

See and feel yourself as the fearless you living your true destiny, take yourself to that place in your mind where you experience this again ... every single day... and you will become that person through your words and your actions.

See it, feel it, know it and it's yours.

Those who think they know, just think. Those who know, do.
Do it.

Reclaim your power.

This Too Shall Pass

You've probably heard it before. It's been said many times, by many different people.

This too shall pass.

What does it mean? It is a general statement that holds one of the greatest truths: whatever it is that you are living, experiencing, feeling... it will pass. Whether it's something that you consider to be good, or bad. Everything changes. Everything passes. Everything evolves. You cannot freeze something forever (unless it's dead) because life is change. Stop fighting against change because that is like trying to push against the weather or the seasons... embrace change and ride the wave in your chosen direction.

Whatever you are experiencing right now... it will pass.

Will it pass into something greater and greater as you evolve on your journey?

That question... only you can answer.

Life is change. Change consciously. Choose your direction.

Are You Aiming Your Flow?

Despite what the title might suggest, this is not an article about teaching young boys how to pee.

It's about the direction of your life, and I was inspired by a few leaves flowing down a stream. I'll explain in a minute.

You've all probably heard the idea of "going with the flow", right? It's a great concept to keep in mind in order to allow yourself not to get too attached to things having to go a certain specific way all the time. After all, the Universe might be able to find a better way to put you and what you desire the most, together in one place, then just by doing it the way you imagined, right?

Who knows more, you or the UNIVERSE?

Exactly.

Having said that, some people decide to unbalance the concept of flow to the point where they say, "why set goals? I just go with the flow!". When you don't know what you want, this is where you start. We all need to explore different avenues in order to better decide in which direction we would like to have our next adventure.

However, if you know that you want something more than what you have now, you need to aim your flow. By that I mean you need to pick a direction and start moving.

Here's where the leaves and the stream come in.

This morning when I woke up, I glanced out the window and saw a beautiful mist hanging over the forested creek area near my home. I decided to go for a walk in the misty treeline and enjoy the opportunity for serene contemplation.

As I walked peacefully down through the trees and stopped by the cool stream, I noticed the fallen yellow and orange-hued leaves scattered on the ground and in the water. As the flowing current caught and carried different leaves with it, I thought of how each leaf was like a person flowing on the river of life.

For example, some leaves find a dead tree, climb aboard and never move another inch, either content in their cozy crevasse or afraid to be reduced to nothing by the constant bumps along the way. Others know where they want to be (further downstream) but they get caught on every branch and rock and corner that they come to, hanging on for a short or long period of time before finally letting go and making flowing progress once again.

Still, there are a few leaves who seem to be able to see far ahead of them and miss most of the branches and rocks that would grab them or slow them down along the way. Every once in a while they get caught on something or get splashed onto a stone, but if they know they are meant to go far, and never give up on that dream, something eventually comes along to sweep them back into the stream or they dry themselves off in the Sun and dive in again.

Those are the ones who had, or have, a direction for themselves.

Those that don't yet have a goal or dream to aim for are like the leaves that fall in the ocean.

The world seems so enormous and frightening that no one knows in which direction to go. So, many simply decide to just hang around where they are right now because it feels safe. Others go with the flow aimlessly. Letting themselves be pulled and pushed in whatever direction, with no rhyme or reason. The question is, are they truly happy or do they secretly desire something more? If the waters that the leaf is in is stagnant, the leaf will go nowhere. To go somewhere, the leaf must seek out and find a current, an area with other leaves sharing a similar direction. There are many currents in the ocean, each going in different directions and with different temperatures and speeds. If the qualities of one current suit the deepest desires and destiny of the leaf, the leaf will somehow find itself drawn to it. Eventually, when it stops resisting the change, it will catch the current and start flowing. It might then become one of the leaves in the rivers and streams carried far and wide in the waters of the world.

How far and how freely it flows depends on the the clarity of it's vision for the future, how far ahead it can see and prepare, and how willing it is to accept that things will never go from point A to point B without bumps, bruises and sometimes severe battering along the way.

Eventually, all the waters lead back to the ocean, which is abundant and powerful beyond comprehension to the little leaves, and is much richer and more beautiful after an amazing journey through all the rivers and streams of the Earth.

If the leaves are still in pretty good shape after their first run through, they might even go for another exciting adventure, sometimes catching another current going in another direction. All the while the majority simply float in a circle or continue to be pushed and pulled back and forth as the constant strain and pounding slowly destroys their ability to float.

Yes, all leaves eventually sink to the bottom of the riverbed or ocean depths... although some go down cursing the world as an un-fair place while others move on while blessing it in unending gratitude.

The question is, which leaf will you be? The aimless and frustrated... or the one with the vision.

All You Need

Sometimes we just have to keep things super simple.

Here's one lesson that, if understood profoundly, can allow you to create a reality of unbelievable greatness and tearful smiles for yourself. A life of unlimited freedom and unending joy. In other words... the life of your dreams.

Here it is:

WHAT YOU FOCUS ON GROWS.

If you can remember this, understand it and use it, that's all you'll ever need to know.

Focus on what you want. The more it fills up your mind, the more it will fill up your world. Remember this and you will live a life that others see as blessed...

Deep down, you know it. Now, remember it. Put it to use.

What you focus on grows.

As long as you remember this, nothing else is needed. All else will come out of this.

What you focus on grows.

Figure out what you want and focus on it.

Decide, then let no power on earth deter you from it. It's this or better.

Thank you. I love you.
